Directors Statement

The Money is a film about addiction—not the act itself, but the aftermath: the repetition, the numbness, the foggy moment when you realize it’s happening again and you’re no closer to getting out. I wanted to capture the claustrophobia of being stuck mentally, physically, and emotionally, with a touch of dark humor. The looping structure reflects the experience of addiction: time slips, progress feels like an illusion, and you keep making the same dumb decisions over and over.
