Directors Statement

The Money is a drug-fueled thriller told through a looping, surreal narrative structure.

It’s a film about addiction, but I didn’t want to focus on the act itself. I wanted to look at the next morning: the repetition, the regret, and the time lost. That moment when you wake up hungover, broke, and realize you’re right back where you started. I wanted to capture the claustrophobia of being trapped in a cycle that feels impossible to escape, while finding moments of dark humor within it.

The looping narrative mirrors that experience. Time slips away, progress feels like an illusion, and every day becomes another variation of the same mistakes.
